imagine that you are a new viewer looking at this for the first time . you haven't read the aforementioned instructions , and try to figure out what's going on . I think lots of visitors will be turned off by the experience , never to return . that's how a website dies .

That ... I could understand . but , don't try to pass it off as a better experience for us , just explain that the backend needs to be fixed , and that is going to change the user interface .

There was a time when commenting on these sites was quick and easy. There was so much interaction and dialogue going on, and I usually posted multiple times a day.
Nowadays, I can't be bothered. So much of this just doesn't make sense to me. What used to be a straight-forward process is now anything but. I'm not a guy who hates change or anything, I just hate needless change for the worse.
